My cousin once asked me if I was autistic, due to me being NEET. Said that I was "too smart for girls" (lol). To be fair, my brother was diagnosed with high functioning autism (Sheldon Cooper tier).

Also, even if you don't have autism, does it run in your family?

My parents know I'm autistic, but they never bothered to take me to a shrink or whatever, they're simply ignoring it. Sometimes I try to talk to them about it, but they always just say I'm a little shy/nervous or change the subject immediately.

I got diagnosed when I was little but when I went to an autism spectrum specialist they thought I had something else and not autism. I'm sure as hell not NT and even though I'm not autistic, whatever I have is very similar.
