Serious Who has tried Bumble ?

Bumble is different from Tinder (and better imo) in that women have to message first, cutting down on timewasters and piss takers. Also it displays the EXACT number of likes you get in a circle (on the free version) unlike Tinder. The best thing to do is not swipe anyone at all, left or right, leaving your profile up for a certain amount of time, then seeing how many likes you get and then try to match with them. It always shows a mosaic of one of your likes in the circle and serves up your likes at or near the front of the card stack every time you log out and back in again, just like Tinder does. Then once you match with someone they have 24 hours to send you a message before the match disappears forever (unless you use an "extend" which keeps it going for longer).

For anyone who has used Bumble, did you get any likes/matches ? If so how many and did they talk to you ?

Well, the thing with Bumble is -

1. If a woman is really interested in you, she will initiate a conversation with you, so you won't waste time on women who don't reply
2. They don't match/message you if you're not an absolute Chad.

It's good at saving your time and dispelling illusions.

I had it for a day. Maybe 75% of the matches messaged, with every single one being something like "Hi" or "Hey there ". That would have been fine, but in most cases, "Hey! How's it going?" was not seen as a suitable response for reply. It seems like Tinder with another round of selection, where her " opener" is nothing more than an opportunity for you to try to impress her. I unmatched all of them, stopped getting likes (the app penalizes foid-unfriendly behavior like unmatching), then deleted the app.

I'll probably resume at some point.

Does it allow you change your location like Tinder plus? If so I might try it out to run overseas experiments. I would never try a dating app here in the west, I already know I'd get zero matches so why bother.

It doesn't on Bumble, not on the free version anyway. Also on Tinder plus when you change your location the people you swipe right on can still tell your TRUE distance away from them, e.g. if you swiped right in SEA it would show thousands of miles away lol

You sure about this? From what I remember on Tinder plus there is a feature that lets you hide the distance. Regardless I still run the experiments although I'll probly download an app that allows me to spoof my true location/distance.
