Good rule of thumb is to have 25-30x your desired annual expenses in investments. Once you hit that number, you don't need to work anymore

I think it depends on how you define "rich". As a billionaire, you are at the top of the food chain of our society and you will have access to every single cope that exists in the world and will not waste your time post here or ldar. On the other hand, if you are a normal middle/upper middle class man who accumulated a decent amount of wealth through wageslaving, you can get better food, a better PC, or a better apartment, but in the end, you are still constrained by law and will not be able to get yourself out of trouble with money alone.
Imagine ordering your mail order bride only to land yourself in jail and gang-raped by inmates; if you are not Jeffery Epstein-tier rich you'd still end up here.
