I don't think that's necessarily true. Memories can fade over time. Plus the memory could upset you as you long for something you can't do.

I sometimes wonder if virginity (or at least a history of bad sex) is protective, as while you might be able to fantasize enough to cum, perhaps that's because you have achievable standards.

A nightmare would be, what if sex was so good that your fantasies no longer cut it and you can't finish masturbating anymore?
