I found out this youtuber I used to watch was making a visual novel, and had to choose between two artists for the character images. This are the character examples from both artists in order, Ghelber and Pokoporoko:
This man chose the one in the right, Pokoporoko, saying that it was the style he envisioned and cleaner and better overall. Which makes no sense since his visual novel idea was a lighthearted story about tic-tac-toe competitions and Ghelber's would nail the mood.
Am I genuinely retarded or is Ghelber's model light-years better? Poko's one looks like your average low-quality highschool project, it lacks a soul and is generic as fuck. Many people agreed with the youtuber, so I don't know if I am objectively wrong or if they are licking his ass and poor decisions
