Is the LGBT community "composed by men?" I'm pretty sure it's composed by men and women alike. A myriad of sexual outliers/adventurers.
But it sounds like the thinking is "LGBTQs have lived their lives with sexual frustration/denial too, maybe they can help us." But simply being denied your sex doesn't necessarily make you the same as us. The factor that really makes the difference is "What should be done about it?"
Furthermore, LGBTQs aren't denied sex the same way as we are. Women don't want us. The LGBTQs, they want each other. It's just society doesn't want to recognize their unions/bake their cakes/desegregate their bathrooms/etc.
For that reason I mentioned the non-feminist LGBT. Foids have had an easier life than us regardless if they are LGBT or not. Men in other hand not. Some of those groups live on average 38 years.
