check the wiki. but choose the armor based on what ur playing. for good light mage armor, go to raya lucaria magic academy. for good heavy armor, there is a boss called Staracourge Radahn, who drops a good sword and then u can buy his armor off some merchants. his armor is best in game if u have the endurance for it.
Items distribution is screwed as in any miyazaki game. Expect large armor influx in late game areas.
No, fucking idea. I'm in Lakes of Lurinia and explored most of the area surrunding academy and found few, little to no armour, in fact, I'm still using the knight armour I bought from Twin Maiden Husk in Roundtable hold, though I haven't explored entirety Lurinia or Limgrave yet.

Bloodborne agian. This game had fucked up item progression where most interesting items where in DLC, locked away behind hardest bosses in game.
all the armlr is shit too tbh. even heaviest armor, u still get 2-3 shotted by many bosses.
the most fun sword in Elden Ring, is behind hardest Boss(malenia) too. Miyazaki trait.
if your doing mage, go to the magic academy. lots of good armor there.

Yeah, not pumping vigor is a big personal mistake for me. Enemy damage ramps up up hard after stormveil and even full plate barely saves you from getting one shotted by most enemies.
Going STR/FTH wasnt a good idea either:
Almost no apropriate weapons so far and out of all incantations, only black flame and flame of frenzy are of any usefulness.
there are several armors that need to be grinded from enemies that wear them. Problem is that drop rates on individual pieces can be very low, so you will have to mmo grind.
really should have spread the dlc weapons also in vanilla areas.

Yeah. DLC showers you with weapons almost too fast. Problem is that its so late game by then that you dont get to enjoy those weapons for long.

I'm doing pure melee build 40/40 with bow just to deal with more annoying enemies. I'm trying to follow Grace's guidance and explore surrounding areas to roughly get of an idea what intended level progression should look like. I will sequance break on the next playthrough.
But from my experince of expolring caves in Lurinia, they give me Ammon shrine vibes, especially those catser enemies. Can't wait what waits in academy.
Also anybody knows what happens to mage guy in Stormveil castle after defeating Godrick?
Ludwig's Holy Blade is cool, but Chikage and Bloodletter are the best.
My problem with the bloodborne is that the game is too linear and there are not enough weapons in base game, DLCs fixes that somehow.
Good that there are atleast flase deepth chalices that let you acquire uncanny and lost version of weapons early on, though no dlcs weapons, and not to mention paying for gaystation+

There are hacked chalice codes that shorten the grind for gems and give you claws/uncanny/burial blade before ng+Ludwig's Holy Blade is cool, but Chikage and Bloodletter are the best.

It needs to be released on decent platform, that is not gaystation. Paying for online is bullshit.
