The entire series ends in part 9. Everyone dies and it turns out nothing mattered. Everything past that is an alternate reality. Jojo ended awhile ago and non-manga readers haven't even realized it.

I've been slacking on part 5 and need to catch up. TBH I never liked this part but the art and music have been amazing so far.
