sentence:

"That's where many American's favorite and least favorite people are."

or

"That's where many Americans' favorite and least favorite people are."

because it's plural, shouldn't it be after the s? I never hear anyone say it like "Americanses" because that's how they say other plural possessives.
 
It comes after the 's' since it is a plural possessive so it is written as:

Americans'
 
Americans most and least favorite people live in that area.
