I go to a smoothie shop and try to talk to foids there. They are mostly all college students. I am 30 , so I hit on the foids who appear to be 22+ or at the very least 21 (usually grad students, seniors, foids who major in something useless and are working some minimum wage job and super seniors)
I usually ask things such as "whats your favorite flavor ," "busy day today" etc. Most of them just smile and answer my questions. None seem interested. If they are friendly, I may ask them their major. I go there often so my anxiety tends to be less there then in other places.
