Whenever you got code reds in school, did you ever used to hope it was real?

I’ve only had one or two real code reds, one apparently because some neighborhood crackhead was running around near the school acting like a maniac, and the other because a kid brought a knife to school and threatened another student with it before running away. I would always wish for a real school shooting though, I would think to myself “please fuck! Tell me someone got tired and decided to put holes in all of these cunts, air this place out!”.

The only "code reds" (we didn't even call them that) I have ever witnessed were a couple fire drills and one tornado warning
