When I talk about Chad, I talk about roughly the top 3% of males. Chad-lite is top 5-10% and high tier normie top 20-30%.
I basically had no preconceptions about what it meant and deferred to the "decile scale" stuff I saw on the wiki.
Apprently 8/9/10 = chadlite / chad / gigachad
I think that's fucking stupid so I an renaming the 8/10 as "midchad" and instead we should consider "chad" to be collectively 8-10
The question is, of the 10 ranks, what % is each rank meant to be?
Like presumably 1/10 (lowest rank) is the first 10% of men and the highest (10/10) is the highest 10% of men?
But mathematically that feels a bit off TBH. This would mean that 30% of men are Chads, which seems too high.
So how else can we distribute % per decile? Perhaps a Gaussian funciton which produces a Bell Curve? The standard/normal distribution?
So something like
1/10 and 10/10 are 1% each = 2
2/10 and 9/10 are 2% each = 4
3/10 and 8/10 are 4% each = 8
4/10 and 7/10 are 8% each = 16
5/10 and 6/10 are 16% each = 32
That only totals 62 so it would need to be fiddled with, I haven't mathed in a while so I don't know how to adapt this properly.
We know that the midpoints would be 5 and 6 so would that be the 20% of men in the middle?
Also it's never clear if we're talking about "in a given age group" or "all living males" because that would have a large effect.
Old men are much uglier than young men for example, so if we're including them they're going to pull down the average and make a guy who is 1/10 in terms of just high school boys seem like 5/10 in terms of outclassing geezers who used to be those 1/10 high school boys and spiralled further down.
