swiping is the whole gimmick/experience of tinder. that's why they stand out. there are DOZENS of apps that operate like that, and you know what happens? only the top 10% of girls/guys even get LOOKED at. then tinder came along. and now every app uses swiping, because its pretty superior

obviously women don't want a grid-layout. if they did, then the biggest female-populated apps wouldn't involve swiping at ALL. tinder/bumble/cmb are swipe and 50%+ women
