Also, I don't even have a bathtub, and I would probably be way too lazy, it just sounded like something that might be enjoyable to try. I have a heating rod but I am pretty sure it ruined the texture of my onaholes (they are fancier Japanese two-layer ones) so I wouldn’t recommend that. What did work for me and didn’t damage the onahole was soaking it in hot water (so basically what you suggested!), it also stays warm longer since the heat seems to mostly dissipate to the rest of the hole/hip/torso. Can stay (decreasingly but acceptably) warm for an hour or two although the hole itself loses significant heat in about 10-15 minutes, and it’s REALLY nice if the hole is nice and toasty, but still fine after that.
If you’re cuddling it, it will stay warm longer due to body heat.
Heated blankets are also great for warming it and keeping it warm but the hole itself takes a while with that method since it’s from the outside in.
