I'm stuck at this chapter (or multiple chapters) where Musashi is fighting this prettyboy monk at the temple, damn to be honest the duels are the most boring parts of the manga, maybe some good shit will come later idk theres a lot more to read

It depends on what you want from D&D and the group of people you're playing with. As far as TTRPGs go, D&D is pretty combat-focused. You're less playing character and more so playing a rôle if that makes sense. If that sounds like your cup of tea, you could probably enjoy it with the right company. Our group fucks around a lot and does stupid shit all the time, leading to actual story progression being pretty slow. We always feel like we don't get enough done. Still, I really like the dynamic we've got going on. In-jokes abound. I've also played with more focused people online, which can be nice in its own way. I dunno how to express it eloquently, but D&D campaigns can be very different depending on who's playing.
