My parents keep saying I’m adding to my sister’s anxiety by joking and talking about serious subjects like world events or tragedies. And they say I offer no comfort and only stress her out.
Even though I cut back on that and she’s the one that often brings up serious world subjects to talk with me, because she knows I have the highest IQ out of everyone in this shit hole. And I only make jokes about the events to ease the situation and offer comfort that way.
But anyways why would she always wanna be around me then and always ask me when I’m coming out of my room if I’m causing SUCH a problem for her.
Wouldn’t you wanna AVOID someone who causes you so much pain on a constant basis? I mean she did when we were both way younger and didn’t really spend any time together.
And they claim I offer no comfort, but even though I do joke about serious topics. I also always educate her on the matters and ensure her that nothing dangerous would happen to the world and that the chances of a world war is extremely unlikely.
And she’s even said herself that I do help her feel better when I talk about how nothing will happen. I think they’re both just mad because I understand her a tiny bit better than their old asses ever will.
