Maybe it's because of the way they are portrayed by the media, but I always felt that pedos are the most predatory of the degenerates. a lot of people think that if you're attracted to prepubescent children you'll have this unusually large amount of urge to go out and molest kids but it isn't like that. if you find someone attractive, do you automatically have an urge to jump up on them and have sex with them? no you don't. it's the same with pedophiles it's just they end up being attracted to little kids. this idea that pedophiles are doomed to offend is a myth. What your sexual attraction is doesn't affect the likelihood of acting on it.

banned for discussing non-offending pedophiles? dude, maybe discussing them will damage our reputation now but it won't in 10-20 years. in 10-20 years, non-offending pedophiles will get easier help and will become more understood and accepted. people will realize they never will act on their attraction and will remain celibate towards children and people will accept that in a couple decades

studies have found that chemical castration doesn't always work. it can work sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. sometimes when it works it causes severe side effects. without chemical castration, they can still avoid acting on it.

I have nothing against them at all. They can't help the fact that they feel the way they do and therefore shouldn't be vilified for it. It's actually a horrific position in which to be - consumed by urges on which you can't act for fear of heinous repercussions.
