- you can split the rent
- you have somebody to talk to
- you have somebody to do things with
- you have a reason to maintain perfect hygiene
- it releases happy hormones
- you can cuddle and feel human touch
- literally everyone will treat you better and regard you more highly when you have a gf
- you don't look like a lonely loser anymore
- you can have kids
- tax benefits
