For your information, Ministry are a hugely influential band, as they pretty much invented industrial metal. Without Ministry there would have been no NIN, no Fear Factory, no Strapping Young Lad, no Rammstein.

I haven't listened to much metal since the 80s, but this is what this music is supposed to sound like:



I've heard a couple of songs by Rammstein and it's neutered normie stuff. High production values but way too simplistic musically.

If i was still listening to metal i'd probably be into stuff like this today:



But i can't handle this heaviness anymore. Also no melodic or emotional element, just relentless heaviness. But at least it is still interesting musically.

If you haven't listened to metal since the 80s then you have a lot of catching up to do. Rammstein is by far my least favourite band among the ones i named, i cited them because they are arguably the most popular. You should really give the other ones a chanche tbh
