Alek Minassian, Marc Lepine, Cho Seung Hui, and others make him look pathetic. From the parts of his manifesto that I read he sounds so beta and pathetic, he's also a narcissist who claims he's "beautiful" and better than everyone else because he's half white.

This. He even gave them one last chance at redemption when he went to the house parties and they treated him terribly. This normie explains the story, and anyone can picture themselves in ER's situation very easy.
