Experiment What people think about incels

The other night I was at a work related networking event. I brought up the topic of incels because I wanted to see what people think / how mainstream we are.

3/8 didn't know what incels are.

2/8 didn't voice an opinion.

3/8 talked about how they thought incels were supposed to be violent individuals who hate women. Compared to terrorists.

Any other similar experiences?

But to answer your question, I've encountered a few people who know about us.

4 of them are mental health or medical professionals. Out of these, only one of them was sympathetic and she's a woman. The rest think we're a dangerous cult.

I also overheard a girl say "there's no gym for your face" at a rave. She was ugly and awkward though, looked like a redditor.

I've only ever divulged that I'm an incel to my closest friend. My parents know I can't get girls but I've never mentioned anything about incels as they would get the wrong idea/worry if they discovered this place.

I've only told a couple of friends and they laugh and say i need to be confident then i start laughing at them. they agree on most points but for some reason won't accept the blackpill.

I asked my brother about it. He only knows about Elliot Rodger so he thinks incel is a terrorist group or something...lol.
