I don't know. Mine is i7 processor with a geforce gtx graphics card, and it works well enough for my use
midrange should suffice. Like AMD Ryzen 5/7 current Gen
And for gpu would a 4060 suffice?
Used RX 6950 XT are probably the best gpu to buy for 1440p right now (it can be found now for less than $500). It's a bit worse than RTX 4070 super but much cheaper and should overclock just fine to match their gpu. It also mogs newer RX 7800 XT and RTX 3080

For CPU, I would say go with used i7 12700k or i9 12900k since mobos and ram is now much cheaper and they still mog the shit out of new ryzens with an exception of amazing Ryzen 7 7800x3d but since AM5 platform is so expensive i don't think they are worth just yet.
Don't even think about buying intel 13th or 14th gen they are getting destroyed due hardware malfunction and intel don't give a fuck they just ignored the problem by releasing bios update and not giving any refunds.

Ryzen = overpriced MEME. Used I7 12700k or even better i9 12900k is the best CPU to buy on the market right now. My 12700k that i just received a few weeks ago overclocks easily to 4.9 on most cores and 5.0 on two of them at low voltage of 1.21v so my performance would be identical to that Ryzen 7 which is way more expensive due overpriced AM5 motherboards

CPU - 12700kf, 5700x3d or 7800x3d are the best options currently, imo. 7800x3d is the best for put it in and forget it. 12700kf if you like OCing. 5700x3d if you want a cheap but good enough gaming build.
GPU - Max you can justifiably afford on a list like at techpowerup. I always suggest Nvidia over AMD if prices are within 25%.

AMD ryzen 7, possibly higher if you want to play games like cyberpunk 1440p 120hz
Pcs are poorly optimised, $500 ps5 =/= $500 pc

unless you use linux, windows is shit and has too much jew juice filling up your RAM
That's why you use custom win 10 OSes like Atlas OS but upgrading them to new version will break everything and you will need to format so i can't recommend them even if perf and ram usage is better
Any windows is shit tbh, unless you found a way to stop trackers and jewplications from secretly running in the background. Otherwise i just use linux and its twice faster too. Only downside is the limited games
