Religion is cope. Blackpill is the only religion.

Ex Orthodox Christian, now in the church of Blackops2cel.

If a god or gods exist, why is there so much suffering in this world?

It is said by almost all religions that if you do good and are faithful, god(s) will bless you, no? What happened to that?

There are lots of people who are poor, who try hard. Lots of incels who try really really hard, and yet nothing.

Yet there are fuckwads like Jeremy Meeks who are thugs, criminals, lowlifes. He didn't need to go to college and yet he's rich just because he's chad and American women being the lowlifes that a lot of them are, bailed him out and pushed modeling opportunities towards him.

I don't label myself as anything although I voted agnostic, only because from what I understand that label implies that you would believe in something only if you saw it.

god, heaven, hell, these things are fairy tales in my mind. But I don't go around saying it unless it comes up in conversation.

Maybe there's a higher power, I don't have an opinion on it either way. All I know is we all die eventually and sooner or later the human race will cease to exist entirely. That's comforting in it's own way.

I was curious about how people were raised too. So, not only what is one's faith and what they practice.

Actually, that is a thing from the religions from the Middle East. It is not so common in other religions.

I actually meant to. The limit of options is 8, though.

That sucks. I just voted agnostic. It's what I used to be I guess

Sucks, indeed. I myself find some pagan religions quite interesting.

For the poll I had to just pick the ones with the most followers.

I'm aware of eastern (Dharmic) religions aka Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.

Even those religions have the concept of Karma where if you do good, you should be rewarded, however most of the rewards such as reincarnating as chad or something good.

No option for our Lord Saint blackops2cel is blasphemous!

Become Chad or die trying is my religion.

Technically, I'm a Buddhist but "cradle Buddhism" from actual Asians has usually rather little to do with meditation (sadly!) and more with growing up with all kinds of shit superstitions I've always hated. For a while, I thought about converting to Calvinist Christianity, but I just can't believe in all that stuff. I still kinda believe that there's "something" and hope that at least after this shit life there's something better, but I'm rather agnostic. So I picked "agnostic" here.

I still regularly meditate, tho. I always found that when it comes to religion, outsiders can often understand them better, really. Like, I feel that I as an outsider have a better understanding of Christianity and the Bible than cradle Christians who grew up with this Christian culture but don't even know why, say, Pentecost is celebrated. Likewise, I found that Westerners who are interested in Buddhism actually know more useful things (regarding meditation etc.) than cradle Buddhists for whom it's just a culture full of superstitions and rituals. Most of what I know about Buddhism I actually know from Western authors.

this is the thought of the dunya. take a good look at yourself for what it will do for your path to Jannah.

I am surprised by the lack of Hindus. I was always under the impression that currycels made a significant portion of this sub.

So many Muslims compared to others. Are you guys from Muslim families or are you converted (or reverted, if it makes you guys feel more comfortable)?

Lots and lots of curries are Muslims. I am also surprised, though.

Anyone except agnostic and atheist are cucks. Religions are cucking you coward cunts. I fucking hate Abrahamic bullshits especially. They're stories of a bunch of goatfuckers.

Even though, religion in some way gives structure, and order, I feel like it would benefit some societies.

50% of the people in the church of Norway are atheists and I'm guessing its the sense of having a community that brings people together, it doesn't always have to be bowing your head down to god, but there's something more than that.

However, I'd have to answer agnostic because I don't know if there's a god, or not. Showing me videos of carpets dancing isn't enough to convince me if god exists. On two occasions, there was one that showed me a carpet praying (video), and another one showed me a video of claiming the satan is possessing the person, and once he believe in god, it all went away... Little things like that annoys and pisses me off... However, sometimes I question on "how could someone (or rather some omnipotent being) create something like this out of nothingness?" and it puts right back in the grey area or middle, not knowing if there's a god, or not...

Christiancel, but not really religious. A lot of it is man-made bullshit used to control people and causes wars. I think there is an afterlife though.

We are losing the fight my Christian brothers...

I'm a atheist
God wouldn't do this to me

Religion is the biggest cope. If there is a god, there must be a Chad god who creates all the Chads, and then an incel god who got rejected by the Stacey Goddess, so he created incels to let others share his sufffering and help him cope.

Still surprised with the amount of Muslims here.

any incel who believes in a god in 2017 just amazes me. How could you worship/ follow a deity who allows so much hate in the world, war, crime, tsunamis, volcanos, starvation the list goes on and on.

How can you explain that such a god is good when he has allowed certain people to inherit extremely subhuman genes and live a long shitty life with shitty genes, seen as unattractive by the majority of society.

What about people born with down syndrome, disabled, deformities, disfigurements,

No, i refuse to believe in a god with all these issues at hand.

I'm a Christian.

A lot of people on /r/incels before and here now ask how can God exist with all of this misery we and others experience. The answer is this world isn't the end goal. We've been granted freedom to act as we wish and we have to accept the consequences of our and others actions. Bad genetics, evil acts, unfortunate events, etc. This is the consequence of the fall from grace. We die and we will be given paradise that lasts much longer than life on earth would have. The saved that is.

Would be great if more people voted.

It's a big lie....

I'm a Christian, but not a very good one.

I believe that there is a unknown god over believing that just some random energy exploded. I guess thats agnostic but i don't know.

30 non-believers and 10 muslims?

A BRAWL IS SURELY BREWING

Agnostic for the moment, might turn to Buddhism later.

An ex-muslim atheist here.

Btw, atheism and agnosticism are not religions, absence of religion is not religion.

I think it's certainly possible that God created the Big Bang, then the universe and our planet proceeded along evolutionary lines. Who is to say that science and religion cannot overlap?

You can call me agnostic.

But not for Jehovah or Yeshua.

I believe there may be more to the universe than we can measure or understand, and that these functions are 'god.' Kind of like pantheism, but with the belief that there may be a spiritual or energy realm as well.

Deus ex machina, if it exists it isn't all loving, it just is. It always was. It always must be.

But our lives most likely mean nothing and everything has most likely formed due to pure chance. There probably is no afterlife or higher power. We're most likely just worm food.

That is why the title of the thread states "IF ANY".

Shambhala is obviously a kind of Buddhist "paradise" in Pure Land Buddhism, with the idea being that you can be reborn in Shambhala where you then learn how to enter Nirvana. In some faith-based kinds of Buddhism, what is required from you is having faith in the limitless compassion of the Amithaba Buddha.

I named myself after a book, Red Shambhala, describing how some disillusioned Communists who were comrades of Lenin but who then get threatened (and later murdered) himself during the so-called period of "The Great Terror" and Stalinism, etc. began to study Buddhism, traveled to Mongolia and Tibet and did the first scientific experiments on meditation.

When I was trying to find a comforting thought after the death of my father I eventually arrived at this idea again; at this kind of Pure Land Buddhism and the limitless compassion of the Amithaba Buddha. I found that not believing in any kind of afterlife at all is incredibly hard. And I don't just mean mentally hard as in depressing, but also hard as in "I somehow can't believe that there is nothing."

On the other hand, the idea of having lost a loved one who is then sitting on a cloud or in a heavenly city (let alone in hell) and watching down at you or inside of you is ... I'm not sure if that's really such a comforting idea. A colleague of my mother had lost his daughter and he said that one day, when he was talking a walk in the woods, he had a kind of "vision" and saw his daughter standing there, saying to him, "Don't worry, dad, I am happy here." And he said that he is not an atheist since that anymore.

I guess it's all complicated.

Are you a trotskyist?

Nothing neither for nor against it. Just that the tone and your choice of words suggest it so i got curious.

I honestly don't know enough about Trotsky to answer that question. He was obviously a comrade of Lenin, later being forced into exile and then murdered by one of Stalin's henchmen as well; and I think I've even used long quotes from and about him on my blog - but these quotes I all had from books ABOUT Marxism and socialism, etc., neither from him nor specifically about him. Almost everything I know about socialism I have from a small communist group whose books I read and who are primarily based on Marx, Lenin, Freud and Reich; and anti-Stalin, anti-feminism, anti-open borders, anti-American, anti-religion including Islam and obviously anti-capitalist. Now combine that with a lot of antifeminist blogs on the internet, some Houellebecq, Schopenhauer, me once considering conversion to Calvinist Christianity, being an Asian "cradle Buddhist" but often more interested in "Western Buddhism" in the sense of meditation without any superstitions etc., and you pretty much have my whole twisted worldview.
