Yesterday I was browsing the Incel Wiki while I came across this thing called cope society, basically, a cope society is a society where Incels like us still don't get access to females, but society still cares about you by giving you as much copes as possible. Some things that exist in a cope society according to the Incel Wiki :
>Virgin shaming is minimal, people will not call you a loser for not having success with females, I think this can also result in less lookism.
>Video games are a national sport and celebrated, we all know basement dwellers love video games, so this is a huge plus in my opinion.
>NEETs are housed.
>Immersive cartoons geared towards adult men are ubiquitous, basically Anime, great cope in my opinion.
>The homeless are institutionalized.
>Porn is ubiquitous.
>Women are commodified.
Of course, all of these are just some things a cope society gives to low status men, so these aren't all you have.
The way I see it, a cope society is where people give you a candy before telling you to shut up, compared to the thing we have in most countries ; Society gives you nothing and tells you to shut up and deal with your own problems, in a cope society however, they tell you this, ''I'm sorry to hear that, maybe some <insert cope here> will cheer you up?'' Example of this :
Let's say there is this adult man, and a child in a room, and there is a door that leads to somewhere, let's call this adult man Cope Society, and let's call the child Incel, let's call the room a country, and let's call the door access to females, relationships, etc...
So, Incel comes up to Cope Society because he realizes many people are going through this door, while he, for some reason, is not allowed to. He wants to get through that door, but Cope Society cannot let him in, because he knows he can never change the nature of females, so instead of letting Incel get through the door, Cope Society gives him a cookie, let's call this cookie ''Video Games that appeal to the male fantasy.''
Basically the cycle goes on like this, every time Incel comes back, wanting to get through that door, Cope Society gives him new copes, and hopes this will keep Incel busy for the rest of his life.
So, does this work? According to the Incel Wiki, cope societies still have a relatively high amount of depression and suicide, I myself think this is rather random, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Because copes are not permanent solutions, they are temporary solutions to a permanent problem, you can never erase problems with copes, even if you have an infinite number of copes, but you can always ignore them with copes, and this is why, this might sometimes work.
Japan is a notable cope society according to the Incel Wiki.
