What is your ethics/moral beliefs

Anglican Vegan

Anglicanism -Three pillars are Reason, Scripture, and Tradition

Essence of Christianity

  • Lively faith in Christ of the heart that manifests itself as good works.
  • Forgiveness of oneself and others.
  • Love God, love your neighbour, love your enemies for love fulfils the law.
  • In all things be charitable and even handed.
  • The way of the cross and discipleship with Christ.
Essence of Veganism

  • Philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude all forms of exploitation of and cruelty to animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.
  • Involves the avoidance of animal products and the adoption of a plant based diet.
  • Deems all sentient creatures to be worthy of moral consideration.
  • Humans still take priority.

I would like to say Stoic as well, but I find it hard to control myself. I have looked into it and I think it would have practical value.

Essence of Stoicism

  • Live according to Nature and make best use of what is within your own power.
  • The internal conscious mind; thoughts, intentions, actions, words, will to obtain (desires), will to avoid (aversions).
  • Focus on what is within your own power and regard all else as secondary
  • Secondary things are externals over which one cannot guarantee a desired outcome.
Honestly when I look over this I do not really stick to Christianity either on account of my habitual sinning. But these are possibly my moral ideals.
