I'll tell you what's wrong with employers. I applied to a bunch of businesses with "now hiring" signs at the door. after reaching out to a bunch of managers when I didn't get a call back one of them told me the signs are there so they can tell corporate they're not meeting quota due to staff shortage, they're not actually hiring.
that means no one is buying slop, it's all smoke and mirrors shielding us from the fact we're starting a recession

I agree. Went to college to do a job now where I need basic skills. My paycheck is a joke compared to people who can buy a house + expensive cars while supporting a family and still having enough to invest. Considering with how much inflation increased over the years its all worthless.

It's the worst economy and job market I've ever seen. This is far worse than the 2008 recession already, and the recession hasn't even officially started. AI is going to annihilate so many jobs it's not funny. Anyone entering the workforce right now is royally gigafucked.

Things are probably going to get real bad. I'm investing every dollar I can into AI stocks right now cause I think that's the only path forward. Either own the AI systems that power the new AI economy, or be a broke peasant forever.

Basically the MAG7 stocks plus Palantir, AMD, and ASML. I also have a lot of SOFI even though it's not an AI company, it's a fintech.

I can barely save up 6-8k in a year. thats when I won't have unplanned expenses which I usually do have. there is not much I can cut down. living in a tiny apt. don't spend money on vacations or travelling ever. while managers get to enjoy life do nothing and get payed 5x. the only thing they have more than me are contacts that derrived from their looks status or wealth.

Enlighten me. So far from what I’ve seen only Chads and foids are able to make money online. Everything I tried didn’t work, it’s more like it’s more difficult now for sub5s to make money at all. I can’t even get a proper 9-5
