I mean, Dark Souls is a very fair game, it is unironically a game where persistence, hard work and study will let you win the game.

The enemies' movement and attack patterns are extremely predictable, it's possible to not get hit at all, without even needing to dodge roll. Even if you aren't good enough to use movement to avoid attacks you can still time dodges or, if you are really bad you can use a stamina shield tanking playstyle and you'll do just fine.

I wish real life was like dark souls, it would be fair and success would be effort based if it were. If dark souls was like real life, when you started a game of dark souls, some people start the game at max level with fully upgraded equipment, while others start the game naked with no arms so they have to beat every enemy by kicking them.

Everyone dies in dark souls, I myself have several thousand deaths because I decided I wanted to learn the parry timing for every enemy in the game.

It's still reflexes. There are some people out there where their muscles have a terrible delay that can't react in time. This means if an enemy swings at you, your brain tells you to block after you have already been hit. That's the incel life. We're abnormal.
