Women often get angry and lash out violently. They may slap their partner, screaming, or pull the hair of their "girlfriend" in a fit of rage brought on by some petty argument. It usually does not last long, and it is brought on by some transient feeling of frustration. It is typified by hair-pulling catfights and shill screaming.
Male violence is different. It usually has a cause and a purpose. It can simmer for a long time before being actualized, before boiling over explosively, or it can be extremely calculating and exact. Female rage seems to lack this deeper level,
Anyway, does anyone here know more about this than I do? Or if anyone could link to a book or essay describing these phenomena, that would be very helpful.
