Both are Magic Square Masterpiece scaled Optimus primes. MS-02TC is meant to be inspired by the original Optimus prime toy, while MS-02EX is based on the cartoon.

I like the MS-02EX's contrast of colors. Looks like a toy but cool. I hate when people try to make toys look realistic, like thats the point of the toy, make it look like a toy, make it look fun

This is super hard. I prefer the metallic paint on TC. But overall I like the cartoon look more, also EX has better materials & more weight.

I do wish both figures had metallic paint for the eyes.
