For some time I downloaded really a lot. I might have 40TB porn in total, but a lot of it unorganized. But then I pick my favorites and give them ratings about the stuff I care. I even had a naming system for the "class" of porn but I became too lazy.
I think my structure looked like this: [class] - [producer] - (Producer-Internal-ID@Release-Date) Performer1, Performer 2; Title [tags].mp4 , would have to look the exact details up.
Class was based according to what I cared about:
First the sexual interaction pattern:
h - heterosexual, l - lesbian, s - solo
Can be combined, e.g.: hh --> Two guys and one girl, hl --> one guy and one girl go on one girl.
Then a style modifier:
m - male "target"/focus (usually for femdom), default was female focus
n - nonnude (I think, I rarely used it)
Then the actions performed:
o - genitals are stimulated (think "orgasm", but I did not check for it,), x - vaginal penetration ("sex"), a - anal penetration, b - bondage, p - pain, t - tickling
Then two classes of cumshot, if available
f - facial, c - creampie
But I wasn't always strict on the order, sometimes I just put what "sounded" best. I know it's not perfect. I am not sure I had a way to specify a cumshot not it these classes, but it probably wasn't too important to me. I also didn't have a class to distinguish oral stimulation for stimulation with toys. Instead, for "good" videos I made a folder structure with the type of cumshot or in general the type of film. There I have bdsm, bdsmtickle, creampie, interesting (for stuff which is "unique" in some way but not covered by other classes), lesbian, mohard (femdom - think "male orgasm - hard"), mosoft (blowjob - think "male orgasm - soft"), pictures, sex (unspecified cumshot), solo, tickle, ticklegasm (unlike the name, it's for an arbitrary combination of tickling and stimulation, I did not check for an orgasm). I unfortunately have multiple folders with a similar subfolder structure (depending on when I collected stuff), sometimes instead of sex also "cumontits", "cuminmouth", "facial" etc. to specify different cumshots other than creampies.
For tags I usually just checked the creampie. There I tried to see if I trust it.
I had "real" --> I am reasonably confident it is real. "fishy" --> I cannot tell. "fake" --> I think it is not real, "pfake" --> 100% sure it's fake
Sometimes the "good" pattern: "creampie kissing" if the actors kiss after he cums inside her which was extremely rare combined with a "creampie real" tag.
Also the resolution in the format e.g. 1080p or 2160p.
And lastly sometimes the original filename so that I know if I would redownload stuff. That actually was a big problem, for some time I stored all the file sizes and the durations to see if something I would want to download again maybe already existed on my harddrive somewhere. But I got too lazy and now I mostly download from some paysites.
I remember that I edited some of these tags on Linux, so some of the files were not accessible on Windows any more.
How did you keep your files organised? Are all of the organised or just the most important ones?
