Even in the comments section of washingtonpost articles he is featured in some suspect he might be a fed because despite all the things that he has done that might get anyone else arrested he is able to operate freely and appears to be protected from attempts to harm him compared to others that would say and do what he has.

I think those are called sting operations and depending on how determined cops are to catch people they can be utilized frequently even for suspects known as being paranoid but that have weaknesses where they open up if prodded about these weaknesses.
That's looked at as a minor charge by normies so he'll probably be fine after a few years.
