With the NTpill being thrown out more, does neurotypical mean you are very sociable with no discernible mental illnesses or just not autistic like how it’s applied in psychology? :waitwhat:

Its usage seems too vague on the forum: it means too many things to too many people.

chudur budurpilled people should know this :feelsUgh:

Neurotypical is a term that’s used to describe individuals with typical neurological development or functioning. It is not specific to any particular group, including autism spectrum disorder.

I’m saying people have too many definitions for what means to be NT: this will only make future discussions confusing.

It means being a normie NPC.

I guess its used to describe people who don't have a mental condition that affects their sociability

I have not been able to have a decent social life since my childhood. Am i non-NT?

I always understood it as not being a weirdo.

I have no fucking idea. I guess being able to talk to people without one word response.

This definition would make me considered Non NT because I suffer from a panic disorder that makes it hard for me to function in public while @Animecel2D’s would not because I’m neurologically the same as the average person when I don’t suffer my symptoms.

Very confusing isn’t it? :waitwhat:

Not being diagnosed with any mental disability

Being NT is almost like having a “sixth sense”. The only thing that has ever successfully helped me experience this is doing drugs.

Now marijuana actually worsens my anxiety, but when I first started it would completely alleviate it.

It’s like there was a “shroud” lifted from me and I could understand social cues. It’s crazy-like you can finally read people’s facial expressions and body language, and very easily feel their “vibes”.

It became easier to tell when to crack a joke, or when to be serious.

I’ve never had the ability to see any of this shit sober at least not well at all.

It’s absolutely brutal seeing NT people walk up to complete strangers and make instant connections.

It's mostly a cope. I grew up treated like scum, yet I can open up and be a very normal person you'd never think purely socially. IOW, you think it's some "deep-seated" damage but the truth is it's only merely human instincts and nature at work AKA no reason to be extroverted and outwardly open when your looks have set you in to the firm place of low-value nothingness from your own life experience bare bones.

Not being "NT" is just a way to gaslight -- to pick you apart and find alternative excuses usually to mock you for. You know, why is Mr. Loser 36 and stupid and lonely and smelly and etc.? Oh yeah, it's his social skills! Forget why he hates society -- just blame him for not subjecting himself to it despite any valid reasoning behind his choice, conscious or not, to isolate and/or never manage to fit in!

I had so many things made fun of when I was a kid, only until I got older and looked a bit more masc. which is when people, especially guys, stopped fucking with me. But NT is laughable as some think it's the difference between a slaying Chad and a basement-bound truecel when that's almost never the case. Sure, with looks you benefit from at least half-decent social ability, but the best social ability never replaces LOOKS.

Even socially anxious Chads or guys with good looks I've seen almost always will end up having sex/options at least even if they never go through with them. On the other hand, plenty of guys here, including me, can emulate the normie NPC script to a T but still not get the high quality experience of it. I know I could jester more and get some social improvements maybe, but I'm not subjecting myself to 5th wheel life treatment.

I mean, sure, you can probably clown your way somehow to being the punching bag jester of the group, but you'll never fake genuine respect from others. I do not talk to people much usually, but I have no fear of talking to someone, anyone, if I know they want to talk to me and treat me right. AKA most people actually have at least acceptable social ability -- it's more the CONFINES or CIRCUMSTANCES in which you can actually show it/shine. Since us incels are known for being treated like second-class citizens we are tainted with well-reasoned but obviously detrimental negativity in how something will work out for us -- but this is a good thing because it's RATIONAL and HUMAN to LEARN and ADAPT/etc.

How does having options even matter if you fuck it up every time cuz you’re too autistic or shy? Might as well be ugly tbh.

New technology (NTFS) is what windows use as a format system.

It's great for very long file names. And formats quickly.

Let's nux (linux still uses fat 32 and or exfat32, and another one Icr.)

Neurotypical, the literal meaning of the word, is someone who does not have any developmental disorders or abnormalities. Diagnosable forms of those developmental abnormalities are Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, ADHD, etc. Basically, a normal and healthily developed person.

I think for us, it generally means someone who is a normie. Someone who doesn't have weird or niche hobbies, isn't introverted and awkward, and isn't an incel. Those are very stereotypical autistic traits. I think a lot of people on the forum have undiagnosed autism. Autistic men struggle a lot with dating.

The meaning, being either one of those two, depends and can be interpreted by the context its used in.

Neurotypical (like everyone else), as opposed to neurodivergent (autistic, for example).
