Nichemaxing - maximizing your interests into some specific thing just to attract women who like this specific thing. Or, if you aren't interested in this, you are just changing your personality and hobbies.

For example: you like tattoos, so you are turning yourself into a living painting just to attract women who like tattoos. Or, you like a woman who is into tattoos, so you become a walking graffiti just to please her.

I think this is cope.
I mostly listen to rock and metal, and I have vast knowledge about those music genres. I can even write an essay explaining differences between certain metal subgenres.
But, there is a problem - why would a woman choose me - a stuttering 5'5/165 manlet over a tall and handsome guy who knows max 10 entry-level bands?

i think it does have an element of truth. I see these 5'7, LTN, patchy beard men with really attractive women, why? because he has long hair and is into the metal subculture and so is she. But it only works for normies, if you're giga ugly and sub-5 then no amount of nichemaxxing will compensate for your face.

I guess you can gain a point of SMV for a specific demoraphic. Emo guys come to mind, because I don't think any man would do this to himself otherwise.

It may work if you are just below normie level or above, because foids do have preferences, it's just that they pale before looks and status.

Well in that case, niche maxing doesn’t work. I think you might have to be at least a 5 and of decent height for it to work.

Nichemaxxing is valid, it means you would have appeal to a subset of women whose narcissim would be fed by association with you. It's probably bets paired with being aloof/pick up artisty to build the illusion.

If you're a boring, nothing going for you 5'8'' 18% body fat guy at 167 with a 3.5 face and a minority getting a woman to buy into the illusion of max status takes you from 9th percentile to 59th percentile in that woman's or subset of woman's eyes
