I mean, not all of us are socially incompetent. I had to work on it over the years I was at work. I socialized/made somewhat "friends" at work way better than I ever did in my school years. 1. Work has more mature setting and I can say whatever I want, when I want. School was limited and full of social retards like myself at the time. 2. if it wasn't for my exposure to adult males at the workplace and how they were open to my existence vs. my peers, I would never have developed. I think it has all to do with your surrounds. And furthermore, none of that has anything to do with my inceldom. My inceldom is private (only a select few know about it and honestly don't care) and never is brought up to my co-workers and I've almost been there for a decade now.

That pretty much describes how I was in my late teens and early 20s. I was extroverted, social active, had a fairly wide social circle, went to parties and clubs, etc. I've only had a couple of female friends my entire life though.

The way I look at it, if you're above a certain age, are a KHV, have never had a romantic relationship, and have never had any options...then you are a legitimate incel by any remotely reasonable standards.

I just don't get this attitude that inceldom requires being NEET, having zero friends, living a hikikomori lifestyle, etc. Wizardchan had the same attitude and gradually became stricter and stricter about this by permabanning people who didn't fit their increasingly strict and specific criteria.

For most of us oldcels, living that kind of life isn't even an option as we have to financially support ourselves if we want to live.

I think there's a barrier, where people stop being a little social, and I think that's when they get married, and have kids. From on there, people would typically keep a smaller social circle. I guess that might be part of the reason why older extrovertedcels have trouble making friends. Because most people already have their lives sorted out.
