Throughout childhood I didn't care about my appearance that much. I always felt 5/10 when I looked in the mirror. It wasn't until my early teens when I used a handheld mirror whilst looking at myself on another mirror to see it flipped. The asymmetries on my eyes, nose, jaw and skull showed how deformed my face looked and why everyone else was calling me ugly. I also started to notice how bad I looked in photos as well. There hasn't been a day since then I haven't felt self conscious and my self esteem is almost non existent everyday.
