Yes, but Iran is impotent to fully retaliate. Sure, they can bomb US bases in the Middle East, but they can't touch America itself unless they resort to terrorism, which is doubtful since the last thing Iran wants is a casus belli for America to launch a full-scale invasion of the country.
And if the targeted strike fails to destroy their nuclear program, what happens then? Will Trump keep escalating until their nuclear program is destroyed and is Iran going sit patiently as the bombs fall?
