Probably because of its philosophical theme,  i agree with the satisfaction the anime gives to you. This is one of the few animes that i find beatiful, new animes feel mediocre compared to this.

Only ever seen death note, loved it. For an anime, the themes is explores is conveyed brilliantly through it's characters, and I think L is just overall one of the best antagonists ever
