I think this is a massive generalization and not even necessarily true. Just look at Cuba. I'm not a socialist either but lets be truthful here.
As for the topic, there won't be communism but rather feudalism. I think saying that its socialism is a misnomer, because multinational corporations and the rich will be able to keep their property. Its just that the poor people won't be able to afford to own anything. This is why we are constantly being marinated in the liturgy of "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy." Almost like we are being told that the rich people are taking one for the team, because they'll own everything and they'll be totally miserable, meanwhile you'll own nothing but you'll be happy for it!
We'll be seeing UBI rather soon. Of course that'll make it even harder for people to own anything because after that inflation is going to be on highway. But that won't matter to the rich people at that point - as they'll be the sole owners of everything by then, and even if the value of everything will go down, it doesn't factually matter as long as the feudal slaves won't be able to purchase any of it.
