Experiment Were the 80s the best time to be alive in history?

In general, the 80s, 90s, and early to mid 2000s were the best time to be alive in human history. And i mean really alive, young, fit, active, etc.

In 70s and before, life was harder. But, societies were monoracial and people lived simpler lives.

After 2000s, the social media, internet, porn took over etc. and made our lives miserable.

Therefore, a reasonable conclusion is that life was best when it was modern, but wasn't as degenerate as today.

In modern history, maybe. But not in general.

Best time to be alive would be 90s and early 2000s

Not for genuine truecels, there was no online dating but foids could still whore around and be very hypergamous.

That music is shit

No Internet. Many trucels probably roped.

I’ve said it before and I’ll stand by it, the West peaked in the 90s. I’m not saying western nations will never exceed it again in all of eternity, but current western civilization will collapse and be built back up before getting back to the economic prosperity, artistic expression, social cohesion, spiritual reflection, innovation, and just general optimism of the 90s. The optimism during the 90s stemmed from the emergence from the Cold War and the so called “end of history”.

I am fond of looking back at the 80s for all of reasons I mentioned for the 90s. While the Cold War seems like an interesting time to live in, the constant tension during the 80s makes me think the 90s would be better off.

I was born in the late 90s and I really wish I was born just 10 years earlier. I’d be better off economically, and most importantly, SEXUALLY. In any case, I’d say the 80s mogs the 2020s.
Therefore, a reasonable conclusion is that life was best when it was modern, but wasn't as degenerate as today.
My thoughts exactly. Technology wasn’t that much different in the 90s-2000s compared to today. I’m shitposting on a forum on my phone, but I still could have done that on a PC in 1996 or 2003. I’d actually prefer to be a software engineer in those days rather than today.

The 1990s were the peak of human development: the best music, the best movies, the best games. The absence of such a level of degeneration as it is now and the economy is still working normally. Again, all of the above applies to western Europe and North America, the 1990s were hell in the former socialist camp.

AIDS was rampant though.
