Instead of looksmaxxing in the mainstream way, to appeal to normie women, would it be possible to looksmax in an "alternative" path?

For example, looksmaxxing to appeal to a certain demographic such as ... idk, rock/punk girls? There aren't as many today as there were before, but you get the idea. Instead of getting surgeries for a better jaw or something, you could looksmaxx in different ways. A face full of weird makeup, weird hair, weird tattoos etc... Another group that comes to mind is also one from the past, the hippies. These groups are pretty dumb, so with enough confidence and charisma you could like... idk, dress up as a buddhist monk and paint your face green or something, those dumb hippie chicks might be into it.

This isn't something I'd personally do, mainly because of my extreme laziness and also inhibitions. Ohh and my country is very vanilla and boring.
