Understanding and Treating Incels is an indispensable guide for mental health clinical staff, social workers, prevention specialists, educators, and threat assessment professionals who want to better understand the involuntary celibate movement, assess individuals’ potential for violence, and offer treatment approaches and prevention efforts.

Chapters explore the movement in terms of gender, technology, the media, and pornography usage. The book discusses how the incel mentality has motivated individuals to misogynistic worldviews and increased rage and disillusionment, and inspired acts of targeted violence such as school shootings and mass casualty events. Later chapters walk the reader through three cases studies and offer treatment considerations to assist mental health professionals and those developing education and prevention-based programming. The complete text gives the reader useful perspectives and insights into incel culture while offering mental health clinicians and educators guidance on treatment and prevention efforts.

"In Understanding and Treating Incels, Van Brunt and Taylor take on a timely, uncomfortable, under-researched, and dangerous form of misogyny :soy: . The text provides a methodical examination of the state of knowledge, case examples, and prospective interventions :incel::banhammer: to address the dysfunction and trauma associated with incel ideologies , both by the men who have internalized limiting and cynical:soy: notions of manhood :chad: and the people at risk of being subjected to their harmful expressions :bluepill::bluepill::bluepill:. The text is comprehensive, accessible, and actionable for practitioners and scholars alike." — Jason A. Laker, professor, Department of Counselor Education, San José State University, California

They're training people to bluepill incels.

If they wouldn’t be friend an incel irl or try to grow lightly close to them than it’s not worth it for both sides

But to respond to the topic, They are not going to solve the issue at all, They are only going to try a give delusions and lies to incels in an attempt to make themselves feel better about being Rejected, Outcasted, and shitted on by Society, Unfortunately Most Incels are too much of fucking Chumps to accept the Blackpill, So I am not sure how those Chumps will take this shit.

you can color over blue ink with black ink but not the other way around

We need to send @Edmund_Kemper after them to destroy their bluepilled coping with blackpill science.

Bluepill psyoplossus tbh. Don't know exactly how they will go about debunking legitimate claims, though.

Trust the (pseudo)science they say. How can you trust it when shit like this gets everything wrong?

Total: 19 (Incels: 5, Bluepillers: 14)
They’re watching

I reckon this book is a gigantic collection of shitty normie advice.

They’re watching
You've used that phrase a lot now tbh
Thought you were referring to the authors of that book watching the thread ngl but from the context you've used it so far apparently not lol.

Yes. They’re not watching anymore.

If again by "they're watching" you're not referring to the authors of the book but redditors, the nonzero number of bluepillers lurking rn shows that isn't true.
Btw what do you think of the book?

Looks like one of those books parents read on how to raise a kid tbh
ngl with the usual stereotypes of inceldom allegedly is thrown in the mix.

Yeah, idk what they wanna understand about us though. Most of us aren’t gonna go ER or something like that I mean I’m pretty sure yesterday one of us roped ik who it was.

They're not trying to understand us. Not in the way you might think anyway. There very likely are some government researchers trying to study how incels form as a loosely tied identity in the general sense to learn how groups that have virtually nothing in common can form. But don't fool yourself, they're not studying us to help us in any way. We're under the microscope because we're potential threats, not because we're a growing demographic in society from a result of deep-seated problems in society resulting in its decay. The mouse Utopia experiment already gave them a good idea of what a society with a high number of disenfranchised and sexless men would look like. Today those men are mostly playing video games and cloistered off from the rest of society, not participating (a lot of the times because they can't--affirmative action takes job away from them and feminism allows open season hypergamy, so less men are having careers and families).

What makes someone go ER is mostly understood. It's the feeling of being cornered and hopeless with no way out, mixed with pent up anger and rage. Add to this a sense of injustice going unpunished that needs to be corrected and you have an increased probability of some kind of violent lash out.
