Through a mix of biological urges and extensive socialization through media and peer pressure, we were all made to want what we can't have: a kind, honest, loyal woman who will support us through life's hardships, and help us pass on our genes within the framework of a stable nuclear family. As we all know. no such thing exists. All women are deceitful; their kindness and loyalty are reserved for Chad and only Chad. Through this, we also know that the best thing to do would be to ignore the opposite sex entirely and focus on our copes, but those kernels in the backs of our minds continue to badger us with the want for companionship from these disgusting people.

Like the child who wants to eat the moon made of cheese, only to discover that the moon is not made of cheese, we have wanted to find our soulmates only to discover that women have no souls, and only pretend to for men they consider worthy. Yet, the child soon forgets his want to eat the cheese-moon, as it is silly. Meanwhile, we were told over and over again that our want is something that's not only possible, but expected of us as men, and that we are failures for not fulfilling it.

We have our peers, our biology, and decades of conditioning to overcome. There is no ascension. All we can do is rot or rope.
