How IT fails to grasp this simple fact is beyond me.
And we weren't nice and trying to be a good person for anything in exchange either, we did it because we thought it was the right thing to do without expecting anything in return, it's just that now, when we look back at those years of expectationless virtue, we realize being a good person didn't get us anything. Ever. A lot of us are still 'good' people IRL out of habit because we got used to it, even though we know it won't do us any good. Ask any person who knows me, they all think I'm a nice, humble guy who never talks behind the back of others or makes fun of them and would help you whenever he could as much as possible. They'd never guess I'm here ...
It's all about looks. We are here because we were ugly. Many times I had lurked this website, thinking the people here were 'bad' or 'wrong' because of the things they said ... Now I realize I've always belonged here because of my looks. It has nothing to do with morality. Those guys here who said those stuff were once just like me, but now they're jaded after years of suffering. When Wade Wilson gets all those women who are smitten with him after commiting murder, when a pedophile who tries to meet a 13 year old kid gets lots of sympathy from hundreds of common people like you guys, it's not because they have nice personalities or are good people. They're evil, but they're appreciated for it because of their good looks. No matter what evil things they do, they will be loved and adored. And just like that, no matter what virtuous things we do, we will be ignored and hated.
What we do doesn't determine whether we're good people or bad people, it's what we look like that does. It doesn't matter that I never in my life tried to make fun of another person, badmouth them behind their backs and tried to help anyone I could when they needed it without expecting anything in return. I'll always be a bad person, because I'm not pretty. It doesn't matter if Chad always makes fun of others, badmouths them behind their back, tries to sabotage them, kicks them down when they're in a bad point in their life and abandons them when they need help. He's a good guy, because he's handsome.
So just please stop pretending we're Incels or undesirable because of anything other than what we look like.
