I doubt the tutorial mode is bugged, it´s more like they made the game crash. Or like you say, there might be no game at all.
But it could also be they´re aware their scam to bag a Chad long term doesn´t work for most of them, hence they pull the plug. Just theories, their sheer degree of stupidity is something often going above my head. They have golden lives, and still manage to fail. (Crazy)².
