That's true. Nature intended that people have crushes on each other for a specific period of time to ensure the wellbeing of their children.
However, to develop a crush you need to get to know a girl at least a little bit. That's easily possible if you're still in school or college.
If you're working in an office without female coworkers and don't go party you won't develop crushes which is perfect.
Having a crush as an ugly guy sucks. It's devastating to realize you're not good enough for her..and that other guys are good enough for her.

Well I don't think that is that bad.
When I have a crush I spend my days daydreaming about us being together. Even songs makes more sense in my head.

I don't remember the last time I've had a "crush". I only feel lust toward them at this point.
I just hate them all.
