Water is wet, in the sense of being a liquid which flows easily, because its viscosity is low, which is because its molecules are rather loosely joined together.
My definition of wet is having water on it. We don't say a towel is wet because its viscosity is low, we say that because it has water in it. So using this, a singular water molecule with no contact would not be wet, as it is not touching water, but if there are 2 or more touching, it becomes wet. So water is wet only when there are 2 or more molecules touching.Water is wet, in the sense of being a liquid which flows easily, because its viscosity is low, which is because its molecules are rather loosely joined together.
Nigga..................................... Nobut what if we where to increase it's viscosity but lowering it's temperature to below 32 degrees fahrenheit? Would said water still be wet as it's molecules would have slowed down enough to be a solid object?
duhhhh water is wet type statementWater is not always wet. Sometimes its ice.
Water freezes not because viscosity is increased. Unlike glass, where viscosity slowly increasing up until its indistinguishable from solid. Water has a freezing point where it freezes.
