I really liked the movie, however it changed a bit from the book in ways I did not like:
I did not enjoy the ending at all, the books ending with him riding a bicycle into the forest is much better than him taking a dance class. I found the ending a bit disturbing, even. The camera angle and movement was extremely jarring, along with the facial expressions of the woman dancing with him. I found the ending creepy and unexpected, almost horror movie like. It not have the same effect as the book at all, where his ride into the forest revealed a possibility of joy. I would have also preferred to keep Tisserands mode of death ambiguous as it is in the book. Having him die because he gets distracted while driving when the protagonist calls him did not make sense to me. The book keeps makes you question whether he died by suicide or a car crash. They also could have done the beach scene where Tisserand goes out to kill the couple better. They skipped over the most brutal moment in the book where Tisserand sees them making love on the beach and reduce it to him telling the protagonist about it.
Great movie, every incel should watch it and will find themselves in Tisserand and the protagonist. I would recommend you read the book first, it is short and will help you understand the movie while you watch it. It is also better than the movie in my opinion.
