Discussion Was ER an alcoholic? (ERcels GTFIH)

I read somewhere that ER was an alcoholic and was drinking a lot in the days before the day of retribution, also if i remember there was a case where he got rejected or beaten up and went to the bathroom to drinkmaxx as a cope, anyone who read his full manifesto can tell me?

Yes. He mentions drinking in his manifesto multiple times. Usually when he was in distress. He quoted the game of the thrones, "Everything's better with some wine in the belly". I don't think he was a hard-core alcoholic though.

He mentioned killing himself by taking all of the Xanax and vicodin pills he had left. So he was probably prescribed it.

Edit: The vicodin was probably for his broken ankle he got a few months before the massacre
