First off i need to say that the graphic design of 4chan always fucked my eyes, and i want to puke when i see it, but that's personal preference.
I didn't remember the userbase of 4chan being this docile and so incline to following the media and other mainstream way of thinking. You will find 1 or 2 people saying interesting things, but most of what i find are reddit/twitter level of analysis.
There's also a whole culture of foid worship there, like actual simping over random women unrelated to the convo
There's also an undeniable worship of everything LGTB related, especially troons, yet no users seem to have a problem with it or question why everyone want to fuck a troon on this shithole of a website.
I remember going on it in 2015, couple of years before i got my tablet and was given free internet access. Even then i remember seeing 4chan as this place where everyone was hardcore and was anti-normie overall, and it felt different from everywhere else on internet. But it seems that the website is now a husk of itself, irrelevant and to be forgotten.
That's why i never really went to 4chan on a daily basis, even in 2015, it was only like, the 8th or 9th thing i would do when bored, because the site felt so... Uninteresting.
Was it better in early 2000s ? Was it ever worth something ?
