For the first few days of school and being on campus, my roommate has been going out to parties and bars with kids he had just met. It's only been a few days and he already has a bunch of friends. Today, I went to my room from class and walked in on him fucking some sorority slut he had met at a party. I was shocked as they both looked at me angrily and he shouted at me to get out. I just turned around and waited in the bathroom for the girl to leave. I haven't felt so low and pathetic in my life. When I came back into the room, when the girl was gone of course, the room stank and my roommate had the biggest smile on his face and acted like nothing ever happened (me walking in on him). I don't know what to do anymore, knowing I won't ever get to experience that pleasure, especially not in college.

You need to get your living situation changed. You will start failing all your classes if you dont. I don't know how, i would recommend immediately going to your mental health services building on campus and explain to them your social phobia. Stress your need for a single dorm, or another type of solitary housing situation.

The double dorm system in the US sounds like pure hell. In the UK I'm pretty sure everyone gets their own private room. Some fuckin cheap ass universities over there, you'd think with the amount of money they harvest from students they could at least afford bigger dorm spaces.

The going rate for one shitbox doormroom for one kid is around 9k at my college and it may be even higher. So one shitty double capacity room is 20k. One dorm building is easily bringing in millions.
